PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce consumption of high quality fuel by raising efficiency with the enlargement of the concentration range of an absorption hot/water machine. SOLUTION: A cold/hot water machine comprises a dilute solution line L1 for communicating absorbers 10L, 10H with a high-temperature regenerator 11, and an intermediate concentration solution line L3 for communicating the high-temperature regenerator 11 with a low-temperature regenerator 12. An exhaust heat heating regenerator 20 is inserted to a region between a high- temperature solution heat exchanger 14 of the dilute solution line L1 and a low-temperature solution heat exchanger 15. The exhaust heat heating regenerator 20 is constituted such that heat is exchanged between exhaust heat L2 which is supplied from an external exhaust heat source and a dilute solution which flows through the dilute solution line L1. Evaporators 9L, 9H and the absorbers 10L, 10H are divided into a plurality of stages.
