PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat structure which is good in operability, is mountable with high strength in spite of a relatively long and large center box and obviates stumbling. SOLUTION: A center box 2 of a seat structure formed by integrally mounting the center box 2 projecting from the rear surface of the seat to the lateral side of the freely slidable seat 1 is supported by a mounting bracket supporter 5 fixed to the seat 1 and the mounting bracket supporter 5 is extended backward to fix the lower part at the rear end of the center box 2. In such a case, even if such a situation that impact is imparted to the rear part at the rear end of the center box 2 when a passenger moves on a floor, the rear end of the center box 2 is securely fixed by the backwardly extended mounting bracket supporter 5. This impact is transformed to the mounting bracket supporter 5, by which the possibility for the failure of the center box 2 is averted.
