PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the change of the change rate of a transmission ratio, in a vehicular steering device provided with an eccentric transmission characteristic variable mechanism between a steering handle and steering gear mechanism. SOLUTION: In a vehicular steering device provided with an eccentric transmission characteristic variable mechanism 45 between a steering handle and steering gear mechanism 15, the steering gear mechanism 15 is a variable transmission ratio steering gear mechanism having a transmission ratio variable characteristic varying the transmission ratio in response to the steering angle of the steering handle so as to restrain the change of the change ratio when the ratio between the steering angle of the steering handle and the steering angle of a type is a prescribed steering angle or more.
