PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device and transportation and installation methods for a machine with this connection device that enable to transport and install two interrelated machines in a connected state, and also to separate mutual influence between two machines into very small amounts after installation. SOLUTION: A base axle part 22 has a bolt insertion hole 24 at its axial center. A connecting member 21 is formed in the periphery of the base axle part 22, and is provided with a flange part 23 with a bolt insertion holes 26. A first fastening bolt 25 inserted into the bolt insertion hole 24 connects and fixes the base axle part 22 and one machine 2. Second fastening bolts 27 inserted into the bold insertion holes 26 connect and fix the flange part 23 and the other machine 14. The base axle part 22 of the connecting member 21 is inserted into a mounting hole 14 a provided on the other machine 14. The base axle part 22 and the machine 2 are connected and fixed by the first fastening bolt 25. The flange 23 and the machine 14 are connected and fixed by the second fastening bolts 27.
