PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody an electrophotographic body to be transferred having oilless fixability, high image quality, high color developability, excellent offset resistance and an excellent presservability and an image forming method using the same. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin, in which the minimal of tanσof a binder resin exists, from a glass transition temperature (Tg) to a temperature. at which a loss elastic modulus (G") attains G"=1×104 Pa to each other, the minimal value of the tanσis below 1.2, a storage elastic modules (G') at the temperature. at the minimal of the tanσis >=G'=5×105 Pa and the value of tanσat the temperature. at which G"=1×104 Pa is attained is >=1.0, is used for the thermoplastic resin of the electrophotographic body to be transferred having an image receiving layer consisting of the thermoplastic resin on, at least, one surface of a substrate having a heat resistance of >=100 deg.C. The thermoplastic resin constituting the image receiving layer preferably contains a linear polyester resin not having a crosslinking deterioration in it molecule.
