PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a waterproof plug from standing in a particular direction. SOLUTION: A waterproof plug 1 is in a shape that a sealing part 4 and a connecting part 5 are continuously disposed each other; in the case of feeding by a part-feeder, the waterproof plug 1 is fed upright with the sealing part 4 downward. At the end surface of the connecting part 5, a protrusion 21 is formed halfway around an electric wire-communicating hole 2. While the waterproof plug 1 goes on the introducing path of the part-feeder, if the waterproof plug 1 intends to stand in the inverted posture with the connecting part 5 downward, it loses its balance and fall so that its upstanding state cannot be maintained because of the protrusion 21 being asymmetrically formed on the end surface on the side of the connecting part 5.
