PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the temperature rise of an insulated coil by improving thermd conductivity and avoid the performance decline of the insulated coil. SOLUTION: A fixing member 5 of an insulated coil consists of a laminated sheet consists of an aramid fiber paper 18 which is a reinforcing layer and a high thermal conductivity silicon rubber sheet 19, which is a rubber-like elastic layer. The strength of the fixing member 5 is higher than the strength of a conventional fixing member, consisting only of a rubber-like elastic layer or only of an elastic layer filled with an inorganic powder and the possibility of separation or falling from the insulated coil caused by tearing which is produced through contact with the edge of a thin steel plate, of which a core is composed. Furthermore, since the fixing member consists of the reinforcing layer and the rubber-like elastic layer, the member follows the unevenness of the inner surface of the slot and gaps are hardly produced, so that the insulated coil can be surely held, and superior thermal conductivity can be obtained.
