PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize efficient defrosting by providing a plurality of heating means for defrosting an evaporator and differentiating the type or the heat transferring means of these heating means. SOLUTION: A plurality of frost quantity sensors S1, S2, S3, S4 are provided above/below, to the left/right, and in the center of an evaporator 13 and detection signals are delivered to a control section 53. Based on the detection signals from respective v sensors S1, S2, S3, S4, the control section 53 controls the number and output of heating means, i.e., glass tube heaters 29, disposed below the evaporator 13 and a plurality of heating means, i.e., pipe heaters 41, provided for the evaporator 13. According to the arrangement, uneven heating is eliminated and defrosting can be carried out uniformly over the entire region of the evaporator 13.
