PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To largely improve solderability by brazing a shop assembled heat exchanger in a brazing attitude by laminating a heat exchanging medium passage forming molding plate and fins in a vertical direction, disposing tanks of both sides of the plate at right and left ends, and clamping them with a jig. SOLUTION: In a shop assembled heat exchanger, molding plates 6, 7 and fins 3 are laminated in a vertical direction, tanks 10, 11 formed of the plates 6, 7 are disposed at right and left ends, clamped at jigs 14, 15, 16, 17, and brazed at this attitude. In this attitude, a side tank 4 is disposed at an upper side. That is, since connecting surfaces of the plates 6, 7 are maintained in a horizontal state, irregular fillets caused by flow-out of a brazing material are corrected, and solderability can be remarkably improved.
