PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compost spreader so designed as to enable a maximally loadable volume of compost to be loaded by its own power, convey it, be accessible to even narrow-structured greenhouses, and enable it to be spread uniformly. SOLUTION: This compost spreader is such one as to be equipped with a flat-bottomed bucket 10 for holding compost by scooping it from the front end thereinto, a discharge device 20 for cutting out the compost from the bucket 10 and spreading it, and a tilting device 30 for tilting the bucket 10, mountable on a small-sized tractor, and enable both compost scooping and uniformly spreading operations to be conducted by its own power and by a single operator.
