PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the light emitting efficiency and luminance by providing a discharge electrode divided from a bus electrode with a first width and extended with the second width larger than the first width and formed with a tip having a small width and an opposite discharge electrode, and depositing a dielectric layer for coating these discharge electrodes on the discharge electrodes while restricting the thickness thereof. SOLUTION: A first and a second bus electrodes 1300, 1300' are respectively formed of a metal thin film formed of three layers. A first and a second discharge electrodes 1200, 1200' are conductive transparent electrodes such as ITO, and respectively provided with each part of a first and a second branch parts 1210, 1210' divided from the first and the second bus electrodes 1300, 1300' and having a narrow width and central parts 1220, 1220' having a wide width, and a first and a second tips 1230, 1230' having a narrow width. Thickness of a dielectric layer for coating the first and the second discharge electrodes 1200, 1200' for deposition is set at 30-40μm at parts provided with the first and the second discharge electrodes 1200, 1200' opposite to each other, and set at a value smaller by 10-20μm than the described thickness at parts on the first and the second discharge electrodes 1200, 1200'.
