FIELD: railway track accessories. SUBSTANCE: this relates to track structure. Rail fastening has sole chair with flanges, clamping bolts with washers and nuts, and clamps. Each clamp is made of bar-like material and is bent in the form of loop with legs curved externally and in direction of loop itself. Washer is of spherical configuration. Internal surface of washer interacts simultaneously with four points of loop. Aforesaid embodiment of rail fastening allows for substantial reduction of contact pressure between rubbing surfaces of spherical washer and bar-made clamp, thus enhancing reliability of rail fastening.
