The switch has only two switching paths, whose switching chambers (2,3) are oppositely eccentric with respect to the axis (A) of a cylindrical or oval switch housing (1). The axis (C) of the second switching path (3) runs outside the switching chamber (2) of the first switching path. Each switching path is coupled to a traverse (15) via an axial switching rod (16,17).
