SUBSTANCE: multistage converter basically has capacitors C1, C2 through Cn , one for each section, as well as control facilities incorporating devices VMO1, VMO2 through VMOn for varying intermediate voltage across leads of each capacitor C1, C2 through Cn, devices VE1, VE2 through Vn for recording probable deviation between voltage of medium varying charge and that of medium rated charge of respective capacitor C1, C2 through Cn, and also additional control devices MCC1, MCC2 through MCCn that function to change converter control signals in direction of mentioned deviation.
