PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a compression efficiency while keeping its thin type. SOLUTION: A stationary scroll 1 in which a spiral shaped lap part 11 is erected in the surface of its end plate 10, is disposed to a movable scroll 2 in which a spiral shaped lap part 21 is erected in one surface of its end plate while lap parts 11 and 21 are being piled up this represents a scroll pump permitting plural compression chambers to be formed in between the stationary and movable scrolls 1 and 2 by means of the revolutional movement of the movable scroll 2 with respect to the stationary scroll 1, to be moved, and changed in volume. The cooing side of a flat plate shaped electronic cooling unit 4 composed of a thermo-element such as a Peltier element and the like, is mounted to the other surface side of the stationary scroll 1. Forcible cooling is thereby made by the flat plate shaped electronic cooling unit 4.
