PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splendid congratulatory bag by devising a sheet folding manner for a sheet constituting the bag. SOLUTION: This congratulatory bag is comprised of a bag body 1 in which a sheet material is folded into a bag and a ceremonial paper cord 6 for binding the bag 1. Folding sections 20L and 20R formed into a neck-band of 'kimono (Japanese clothing)' are arranged at a central part as seen in its front elevational view. A band 5 is wound around the bag in a lateral direction of the bag and the ceremonial paper cord is bound over it and then an inner packing is inserted into a space formed between the sheet material and a base sheet as seen in its top plan view.
