PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain durable ink prints in a general photographic format and a large format by setting both a large ink image size and a small ink image size and processing ink images to improve a durability and a stability. SOLUTION: A set of small format ink images 80 and 90 is printed at a receiver 50 over the whole of a first receiver path 60. The-receiver 50 is cut by a first receiver cutter 100 in a first cutting direction 105, whereby an ink image set 110 is formed. Before small format ink images 170, 180 and 190 are cut by a second receiver cutter 220, the images are processed by a receiver- finishing apparatus 650. A receiver having the ink images 170, 180 and 190 is sent to a receiver cutter apparatus 200 and cut to a preferred size by the cutter 220.
