PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the preclusion of flow of a solution or a refrigerant due to the adhesion of a copper compound to the inside of respective constituting components of an adsorption refrigerating machine by a method wherein the precipitation of copper into the refrigerant, into which absorbing solution is mixed, is prevented in the absorption refrigerating machine, in which the absorbing solution is mixed into the refrigerant in an evaporator. SOLUTION: An absorption refrigerating machine is constituted of a high- temperature regenerator 1A, a low-temperature regenerator 1B, a condenser 2, evaporators 3A, 3B, absorbers 4A, 4B, liquid heat exchangers 5A, 5B, a solution circulating and dispersing pump 6B and the like, which are connected through pipelines. In this case, absorbing solution, produced by separating refrigerant vapor by the high and low temperature generators 1A, 1B and condensing the same, is cooled through heat exchange between dilute solution, produced in the second absorber 4B in the solution heat exchangers 5A, 5B, and, thereafter, is sent into the first absorber 4A to absorb the refrigerant vapor evaporated in the first evaporator 3A. Electrodes 20, consisting of a carbon steel and the like, are provided in a solution tank 25 connected to the second evaporator 3B while the electrodes 20 are provided with a low voltage whereby the precipitation of copper into the refrigerant, into which the absorbing solution is mixed, is prevented.
