PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash window in which a heat insulation sash having a drop preventing member can be easily manufactured and to improve the manufacturing efficiency. SOLUTION: The respective rails 52, 54 of a sash of a sash window are formed by metallic interior members 52B, 54B framed by screwing each other, and metallic exterior members 52A, 54A connected to the exterior side of the interior members 52B, 54B through heat insulating members 52C, 54C. A drop preventing member 70 having a clamp face part 71 clamed between the interior members 52B, 54B of each rail and a locking face member 73 connected to the clamp face part 71 and disposed on the exterior member side of the face material is fixed to a joint part between the upper and lower rails 52, 54 and the vertical stile.
