PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a metallic panel and a sash with good appearance and with good construction efficiency and achieve satisfactory water tightness of a connecting portion between a metallic panel and a sash by effectively utilizing the shape of the lateral end of the metallic panel. SOLUTION: This sash is provided with a panel joint piece 7 formed by bending both right and left side edges of a metallic covering L-shaped to be substantially parallel to a panel side wall 6 and the metallic covering 1 and disposed on the right and left sides of a metallic panel P. A sash side wall 11 is L-shaped at the lateral end of the sash 15 fitted to the edge of an opening of a structure opposite to the panel side wall 6, and a sash joint piece 7 is formed opposite to the panel joint piece 7.
