摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase flexural rigidity and flexural strength by combining beams and columns for formation of a rectangular box-typed building unit so that the outer shape of a column(s) of at least one corner out of columns of four corners has a reentrant angle part on the inside and protrude along two sides of the unit. SOLUTION: Vertical columns 11, 11A, 11B formed out of steel products in four corners and horizontal ceiling beams 12, 13 connecting both ends of columns adjacent to each other are combined to form a rectangular box-shaped building unit 10. The column 11 is formed so as to be a hollow square in cross section having one side length of (a), the column 11A is formed so as to be a hollow rectangle in cross section having short side length of (a) and long side length of (b), and the column 11B is formed so as to be a hollow L-shape in cross section formed out of 6 sheets of plate. The column 11B, having the length (b) of a plate 111 and a plate 112 and the length (a) of a plate 113 and a plate 116, is also formed so that the length of the plate 111 may protrude beyond the indoor surface of an inner wall 222 and the length of the plate 112 may protrude beyond the surface of an inner wall 221. It is thus possible to form a building unit having high structural strength.
