PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a course setting apparatus which can reset a proper course highly reflecting user's intention when bypassing. SOLUTION: When a user gives an direction of bypassing, a course can be reset once after an increase in the cost for the calculation of the course of a link for bypassing and hence, the user's intention of bypassing is reflected to allow resetting of a proper course to the destination including no road of congestion and interruption or the like compelling the bypassing. For example, when the distance to the location of traffic interruption is indicated by a guidance marker, if the user inputs distance information, (S40: YES), the cost for the link is increased by the distance information (S60), which facilitates specifying of the link for bypassing. On the other hand, if the direction of bypassing, the local name for bypassing are inputted, the cost for the calculation of the course of the link involved is decreased (S80, S100) and so, they are easily included in the course to the destination to be reset thereby enabling setting of the course to meet the user's intention. |
