PURPOSE: A method for managing a file system in exchanger is provided to lower the data store time which find the block and displays the block state and to enhance the reliance displaying the using state of block in the file system. CONSTITUTION: A method for managing a file system in exchanger comprises the steps of; requesting the file store(200);performing the corresponding operation, if the file store is not requested(202);storing the data of file to be stored to directory area, if the file store is requested(204);reading the data of 512 byte among data stored to bit map and storing to a local buffer(206);detecting the data displaying a continuously unavailable block as the file size to be stored among 4 byte data in the data stored to the local buffer(208);totally detecting the data stored to local buffer, if the continuously unavailable block as the file size to be stored is not exist(210); totally detecting the data stored to bit map(212);storing the file to the continuously unavailable block, if the continuously unavailable block as the file size to be stored is exist(214);and storing the data displaying the available block at the bit corresponding to the block storing file(216).
