PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency accelerating cavity device superior in quality and low in cost, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This high frequency accelerating cavity consists of a barrel portion 2 and a water channel forming member 4 formed of highly strong metal and interior copper plates with high electric conductivity. An inner ring formed of material with a greater coefficient of linear expansion than that of copper is provided on the inner periphery side of the copper plates 8a, 8b, 8c to provide sufficient air and water tightness during vacuum brazing work. A bag-shaped thin metal plate is inserted therebetween for coupling the barrel portion 2, the water channel forming member 4 and the copper plates 8a, 8b, 8c together with uniform density and sufficient strength during brazing.
