PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washer pump using a motor having a flat section of such a structure that a motor can be installed in and held by a housing for generating axial alignment of the motor with a pump chamber and that any strong force is hindered from acting on a structurally weak part likely to cause the motor to be no more possible to make normal rotation. SOLUTION: A housing 8 is furnished with a motor holder 21 to accommodate a motor 12 having a flat section. A plurality of projections 28 in a shape unlikely to be crushed are formed in that part on the inside surface of the motor holder 21 mating with the flat surface 23 of the motor 12, while a plurality of angle-shaped projections 29 are provided in the part mating with the arced surface 24 of the motor 12. When the motor 12 is fitted in the holder 21, the flat surface 23 of motor 12 is held strongly by the projections 28, and the arced surface 24 is weakly held by the projections 29 easy to collapse. Because only weak force acts on the arced surface 24 of motor, the clearance between the rotor 26 and magnet 27 remains unchanged.
