PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance flexibility in mounting by retaining a connector for supplying driving power to a motor on a motor side, and forming a plurality of mounting positions for mounting the main body of a motor by turning it around its center line on a motor mounting part for attaching the motor mounted on a gear housing. SOLUTION: This actuator 1 is constituted of a motor 2 and a decelerating part 3, and has a connector 14 for supplying driving power to the motor 2 from the outside. A mounting parts 27 for the motor 2 in gear housings 20, 21 are formed with a plurality of mounting positions for mounting the main body of a motor 2 by turning it around its center line. As a result, the orientation of the connector 14 is selectable when the motor is mounted, so that the actuator 1 can be mounted even in such a case that it cannot be mounted because of the orientation of the connector 14. It is thus possible to enhance flexibility in mounting the actuator 1 while suppressing a cost increase.
