PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic composition which is safe to the skin and involves a moderate massage feeling in granule itself. SOLUTION: This composition is a cosmetic composition characterized by including granules which contain agar and/or sodium alginate and have a particle diameter of 100-5,000μm and a hardness of 50-500 gf per one granule. As this composition contains the granules of a specific particle diameter and hardness, a fine touch to the skin and the comfortable massage feeling are provided and the washing power is also sufficient.
