The invention relates to a control device for the relative angle adjustment of a driven shaft, notably a camshaft of an internal combustion engine, comprising a drive gear which is connected to the shaft such as to permit an angular rotating movement, an adjustment element (1) for adjusting the angle of rotation of the drive gear in relation to the shaft, chambers (2, 3) for the mutual supply of hydraulic fluid and a control valve (6) which via hydraulic fluid channels (4, 5) is connected to the chambers (2, 3) of the adjustment element (1) and serves to actuate said adjustment element (1). The control valve (6) consists of a valve body (7) having two working connections A and B for the hydraulic fluid channels (4, 5), a pressure connection P for supplying hydraulic fluid and a drain connection T for the discharge of hydraulic fluid, and of a sliding valve control piston (8) for adjusting different hydraulic resistances W between the individual connections. In a central switching position of the valve control piston (8) for adjusting a mean phase angle the hydraulic resistance W is lower between the pressure connection P and whichever of the two working connections A and B in which a design-related leakage current V is higher.
|
