PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the function and constructing property by providing an outer wall having an outer wall surface turned to the inside on either one of four inside surfaces of a building unit. SOLUTION: The frame of a building unit TA is formed of columns 1 raised at four corners of a rectangle, ceiling beams 12 for connecting the upper ends of the columns 11, floor beams 13 for connecting the lower ends of the columns 11 along the short edge, and floor beams 14 arranged in positions laid along the long edges. An outer wall 10 having the outer wall material surface turned to the inside is mounted, for example, on three side surfaces of the box-shaped inside surfaces between the beams 13, 14 and the beams 12. The other side surface is hardly opened, and the floor beam 14 in the opening is removed so as to allow the approach to a road surface with no difference in level. According to this, in track transportation, the building unit can be transported without having a width limitation. When it is combined with a conventional building unit, an external space such as well hole can be formed within a unit building, so that an atrium excellent in lighting can be easily formed. The field man-hours can be reduced, and a constant quality can be also ensured.
