PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice-controlled camera capable of photographing better meeting the photographer's intention and having excellent operability. SOLUTION: The camera is provided with a focus motor 22 and a zoom motor 38 for respectively driving a focus lens 21 and a zoom lens 37, a focus motor driving circuit 20 and a zoom motor driving circuit 36 for separately controlling the drive of the motors 22 and 38, a microphone 41 for inputting a voice and converting the voice to a voice signal, a voice input circuit 42 for outputting command codes for driving respective lenses 21 and 37 based on the voice signals outputted from the microphone 41, and a control circuit 1 for driving the lenses 21 and 37 by respective motors 22 and 38 as much as a prescribed amount or as long as a prescribed time through respective driving circuits 20 and 36 based on the command codes outputted from the voice input circuit 42.
