PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod chain conveyer handly coming off even when a rod is worn. SOLUTION: In this rod chain conveyer 1 formed into an endless chain by bending both ends of rod units 2 inward in a chain axial direction, forming engagement hooks 3 three-dimensionly folded back toward a rod shaft body 4 side, and engaging the rod shaft body 4 of one rod unit 2 to the engagement hook 3 of an adjacent rod unit 2, with an exception of a connecting part forming the endless ring, bent locking parts 5 having opened part free ends of the engagement hooks 3 of each rod units 2 bent in a lateral direction so as to be parallel with the rod shaft bodies 4 are formed, and an opened width between these bent locking parts 5 and the rod shaft bodies 4 is formed in a size wider than a diameter of the rod unit 2 and narrower than twice the rod diameter.
