PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal link-type extendible gate door which dispenses with slanting cutting of the end of each link, can prevent reverse breakage of the gate door by a simple structure in which a projection is formed on a hinge bracket of the link, and at the same time can easily prevent damage, etc., of the reverse breakage of the gate door. SOLUTION: A horizontal link-type extendible gate door is constructed by arranging a plurality of door units in an extending direction. Each door unit is obtained by pivotally mounting, on a longitudinal pivot, a pair of upper and lower internal links 13 arranged on both the upper and lower sides of a door face body and a pair of upper and lower external links 14 arranged outside the internal links 13. The internal links 13 and the external links 14 have respective hinge brackets 21, 22 and 23, 24 which are formed at the edges thereof, respectively, and the hinge brackets 21, 22 of the adjacent internal links 13 and the hinge brackets 23, 24 of the adjacent external links 14 are bendably linked to each other by means of longitudinal linking hinges 19, 20, respectively, so that the internal links 13 and the external links 14 of the respective door units are rotated in reverse directions about the pivot, at the time of contraction. Further, the hinge brackets 21, 22 are each provided with a projection 21d, 22d which rest on each other in order to prevent reverse breakage of the gate door when extended.
