PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a support structure for the end part of the stator coil of an electric rotating machine, in which the natural oscillation frequency of the end of the coil can be adjusted and changed easily, and in which the vibration of a stator core can be propagated directly to the end of the coil. SOLUTION: This support structure is provided with a stator core 1 which is constituted by laminating steel sheets. The support structure is provided with a stator coil 2 which is inserted into, and placed on, the slot 1a of the stator core 1 and in which coil end parts 3 are installed on both end faces of the stator core 1 so as to protrude to the outside. The support structure is provided with insulation blocks 7 which are arranged and installed around the coil end parts 3 of the stator coil 2 and which are fixed to the coil end parts 3. The support structure is provided with coil-end support members 6 which support and fix the coil ends 3 via the insulation brackets 7. In addition, the support structure is provided with elastic members 9 which are placed between the coil-end support parts 6 and the stator core 1, whose free ends on one side are fixed to the side of the stator core 1 and whose free ends on the other side are fixed to the side of the coil-end support member 6.
