PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate driving circuit that allows preventing illegal operation of an inverter.SOLUTION: There is provided a gate driving circuit connected to a junction-type field-effect transistor. The gate driving circuit includes a driver, a booster circuit, and a resistor for voltage drop protection. The driver outputs a signal placing the junction-type field-effect transistor into an on state or an off state. The booster circuit is connected between a gate terminal of the junction-type field-effect transistor and the driver, and has first and second bipolar transistors. The resistor for voltage drop protection is connected between each emitter terminal and each base terminal of the first and second bipolar transistors included in the booster circuit. |
