PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal device of a keyboard instrument, which has a simple constitution and gives a user good touch feeling approximating that of an acoustic piano.SOLUTION: The pedal device of a keyboard instrument includes: a chassis 8 having a guide surface 26 and an opening opened frontward; a pedal which is freely turnably supported by the chassis 8 and projects forward through the opening of the chassis 8 and, when being stepped on, turns downward along the guide surface 26 of the chassis 8; a coil spring 11 which urges the pedal upward and returns the pedal after stepping-on; and a friction sheet 27 which is stuck to the guide surface 26 of the chassis 8 and gives frictional force to the turning pedal. |
