PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately position a main house on a line along the roof gradient. SOLUTION: This positioning jig 11 for a main house comprises a long body 12, a plurality of slide members 12 attached to the body 12, pedestals 14 attached to the respective slide members 13, and an eaves girder pedestal 15 provided in the base end side of the body 12. Each slide member 13 is constituted moving freely along a material shaft of the body 12 inserted in its inside. The pedestal 14 has U-shaped cross section and a fitting recess formed in its inside is so fitted that the main house 4 is detachably fitted therein. The pedestals 14 and the slide members 13 are mutually and rotationally moved. The eaves girder pedestal 15 provided in the base end side of the body 12 has a U-shaped cross section and an eaves girder 31 is detachably fitted in the fitting recess formed in its inside.
