PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner, which will not spoil comfort, even when forced convection is effected b a fan upon heating operation. SOLUTION: When a forced ventilation switch is put 'ON' upon heating operation, a fan 1d is operated until an indoor temperature reaches a value not lower than a prescribed reference temperature, whereby the inside of a room is heated within a short period of time by the forced convection of the fan 1d even immediately after starting the heating operation or when the load of the heating is increased suddenly. In this case, the fan 1d is operated with an air volume smaller than that 4 cooling operation, whereby an excessive air volume upon heating can be prevented and comfortable heating can be effected at all times. |
