PURPOSE: A method for controlling washing process in electric washing machine relates to a washing machine which launders by directly driving a washing tub. The method is provided to launder with detecting and controlling foam generated in the course of centrifugal washing process for preventing excessive foam generation and overflow of the foam. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling washing process in electric washing machine comprises a step(60, 61) for performing an agitation washing process for an arbitrary set time and then measuring the agitation time in the agitation washing process; a step(62, 63) for performing a centrifugal washing process for an arbitrary set time after measuring the agitation cycle at the prior step and then measuring remainder time for centrifugal washing process; and a step(64, 65, 66, 67, 68) for determining whether a time difference between the remainder time and the agitation time exceeds the desired remainder time and agitation time set arbitrarily or not, if the agitation and centrifugal washing processes reach to the desired remainder time and agitation washing time set arbitrarily, and performing agitation washing process under which foam is removed and then stopping washing process, if the time difference exceeds the remainder time and the agitation time. |
