PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printer having such a structure as causing no damage on the print quality by paying attention to the fact that a print tape is continuous. SOLUTION: The tape printer comprises means 12 for printing on a print tape T1 by ink jet system, a roller 41 for feeding the print tape T1 in synchronism with driving of the print means 12, and means 11a for imparting tension to the print tape T1 wherein the feed roller 41 is disposed on the downstream side of the printing means 12 in the feeding direction of tape and the tension imparting means 11a is disposed on the upstream side of the printing means 12 in the feeding direction of tape. |
