The insert (6) has a base which can be coupled to one of the press beams (1, 2), two walls joined to the base, and at least one adaptor strip joined to one of its walls. Each of the walls is provided with clamping devices (8) for securing a press tool (4, 5) mounted in the cavity defined by the insert base, insert walls and adaptor strip. Independent claims are also included for (a) the adaptor strip, and (b) a bending press fitted with the insert.
