PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective-lens driving device in which the deviation between the optical axis of an objective lens and the optical axis of a light receiving element is eliminated even when the objective lens is tracked in about±400μm and which can adopt a lead screw system which can deal with a high-speed rotation. SOLUTION: When a lens bobbin 2 is moved to a tracking direction, also a mirror holder 4 which is connected by shafts 7 follows it so as to be moved integrally to the tracking direction. An objective lens 1 and a rise mirror 3 can be tracked integrally, and the deviation of an optical axis is not generated between both. Consequently, the dislocation of a spot which is incident on a detecting element for tracking is not generated, and their tracking operation can be controlled satisfactorily. At this time, even when the lens bobbin 2 is moved to a focusing direction, the side of the mirror holder 4 which is connected so as to be freely slidable is not affected by its movement so as not to be displaced. As a result, it is not required to mount the mirror holder 4 including the rise mirror 3 on a focusing-direction drive member, and the side of the lens bobbin 2 can be made lightweight so as to be capable of dealing with a high-speed drive.
