PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silicone gel composition forming a silicone gel having excellent cold resistance by curing and causing small spreading in coating. SOLUTION: The objective composition is composed of (A) 100 pts.wt. of an organopolysiloxane essentially composed of 80-98 mol% R(CH3)SiO2/2 unit, 0.1-10.0 mol% RSiO3/2 unit and 0.1-10.0 mol% R(CH3)2SiO1/2 unit (R is methyl, phenyl or an alkenyl; the alkenyl group accounts for 0.25-4.0 mol% of total R groups), (B) an organopolysiloxane having >=2 hydrogen atoms bonded to Si atom in one molecule, (C) a platinum-group catalyst, (D) 0.01-10 pts.wt. of silica powder and (E) 0.01-5 pts.wt. of an epoxy compound and/or a polyhydric alcohol.
