PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb difference in thermal expansion caused by the change of circumferential temperature and the like, of an intake valve and an exhaust valve, and reduce noise, the power consumption and the manufacturing cost by regulating the materials and the axial lengths of a cylinder head, a housing, a valve body and a shaft part. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic driven valve 1 for driving the intake and exhaust valves and the like of an engine comprises a valve body 20 axially vertically moved by a stem 21, extending into a spring accommodating chamber 12 in a cylinder head 10. An electromagnetic actuator 50 driving an armature 40 is disposed in the housing 30 installed in the cylinder head 10. In this case, the materials and the axial lengths of the members 10, 20, 30, 42 are regulated so that the total sum of the thermal expansion in the valve body axial direction within a prescribed temperature range of the valve body 20 and a shaft part 42, and the total sum of the similar thermal expansion in a prescribed temperature range of the cylinder head 10 and the housing 30 are substantially equal to one another.
