PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key storage device with a confirming function devised to previously confirm a person to enter a room by taking out a key from indoor and to prevent mischief. SOLUTION: This key storage device with a confirming function is constituted of a key storage device 14, a call means 9 and a confirming means 10, the key storage device 14 set outdoor and the call means 9 are integrated, the confirming means 10 is set indoor, a person to be allowed to enter a room is confirmed through the confirming means 10 in accordance with questions and answers between the call means 9 and the confirming means 10, and only the person allowed to enter the room can open a cover 4 and take out a key 3 in a box 2.
