PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color cathode-ray tube having high reliability and high resolution while saving the power by narrowing the neck diameter so as to lower the deflecting power, improving the focus characteristic, and giving the compatibility with other color cathode-ray tube. SOLUTION: In a cathode-ray tube, at least one part of a conductive wire 30 of a stem 13 for sealing a neck end of a funnel forming a vacuum envelope is bent in a projecting part 31 surrounding an internal conductor part 28 so that the bend part of this conductive wire is arranged outside in the radial direction of the stem in relation to the center axis of the projecting part, and the arrangement diameter of the internal conductor part is formed smaller than the arrangement diameter of the outside conductor part 29.
