PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system for milking system, or the like, in which running cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: A milking system 10 comprising a plate cooler 52 for precooling raw milk 70 supplied from a milking machine 50, and a bulk cooler 55 for preserving the precooled milk 70a under cooled state is provided with a cooling system 12 for the plate cooler 52 and the bulk cooler 55. The cooling system 12 comprises an air cooling system 20 for cooling brine 29 through use of outdoor air, a brine cooling means 18 producing low temperature brine 29 through water spray 23 or a refrigeration cycle 26, and a cold storage means 41 and supplies low temperature brine 72. Since heat can be stored and utilized even when the outdoor temperature is lower than 0 deg.C by air cooling the brine 29, a cooling system 12 having very low running cost can be realized.
