PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid seizure of a plunger tube which slides the inside of an absorbing tube by simultaneously satisfying a specified relation at an optional cut surface passing axial line of tubes formed by two tubular parts which are matched with each other, in a shock-absorbing body. SOLUTION: In a shock-absorbing body, the relations Ep>Ea, Rp<Rr.p, Ra>Rr.a, (Da-Dp)×1/2>2×Rr.a, Ra>Rp are simultaneously satisfied at an arbitrary cut surface passing axial lines of plunger tube 3 and a shock-absorbing tube 4 formed by two tubular parts which are matched with each other. In the relations, Dp is the outer diameter of the plunger tube 3, Da is the outer diameter of the shock absorbing tube 4, Ep is the thickness of the plunger tube, Ea is the thickness of the shock-absorbing tube 4, Ea is the thickness of the shock-absorbing tube 4, Rr.p and Rr.a are the outer radiuses of the plunger tube 3 and the shock-absorbing tube 4 respectively.
