PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a defect such as crack even when a material having high mechanical strength or chemical stability is used for a gasket by constituting the gasket from first and second insulating members to be mutually engaged, and nipping the engagement parts of both the insulating members between a cylindrical vessel body and the caulking part of an electrode terminal plate pressure so as to be mutually crimped. SOLUTION: The lower end part of the cylindrical part of a first insulating member 2 and the circumferential part of a second insulating member 3 are pressed by the caulking part 14 of a positive electrode terminal plate 13 as they are mutually engaged. Consequently, the lower end of the cylindrical part of the first insulating member 2 is slightly extended, the inside part of the second insulating member 3 is slightly compressed, and both the insulating members 2, 3 are mutually crimped in these extended part and compressed part. At this time, the engagement part of both the insulating members 2, 3 are relatively slipped, whereby most of the deformation accompanying the caulking fixation of the positive electrode terminal plate 13 is absorbed, so that only a small deformation within the elastic range is caused in each of the insulating members 2, 3. |
