<p>The invention relates to the use of human homologues of Drosophila Suppressor of deltex (h-SDRP) in the form of nucleic acids, proteins and antibodies in diagnosis and therapy. The h-SDRP nucleic acid and amino acid sequences and antibodies thereto may be used according to the invention for the detection and quantitation of h-SDRP mRNA and protein, to study the expression thereof, to produce h-SDRP proteins, fragments and other derivatives or analogues for use in the study, assay and manipulation of differentiation and other physiological processes in which Drosophila Su(dx) is postulated to be involved, e.g. diseases of cell fate and abnormal differentiation and cell proliferation.</p> |
