PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range finder capable of performing high-accurate adjustment in a light projecting direction with a simple constitution by using a reflection type LED in a light projecting element. SOLUTION: The reflection type LED 1 in which a light emitting part 2 and a concave reflecting mirror 3 are integrally constituted and a transmitting part 4 covering an aperture side of the mirror 3 is provided on the light projecting element is used in this range finder. When a pedestal 22 is provided on a camera main body 21 and the LED 1 is assembled, the pedestal 22 is previously coated with adhesive 23 which is hardened by the irradiation of an ultraviolet ray, the mirror 3 of the LED 1 abuts on the adhesive 23, and the LED 1 is moved to adjust the light projecting direction. After the adjustment of the direction is finished, the adhesive 23 is irradiated with the ultraviolet ray, so that the adhesive 23 is hardened, and the LED 1 is fixed on the pedestal 22 of the main body 21. |
